Great. If they bring this option to the U.S, the odds of me ‘walking in’ on someone after one-too-many increases immensely.

My dear friends Marc Acito and Floyd Sklaver know pretty much EVERYONE in Portland. So the other night, as we stood in the lobby before opening night of “A Chorus Line” at the Keller, I was introduced to several lovely people. But the one I was most excited about was THE Penny Lane, inspiration for Kate Hudson’s character in “Almost Famous”. Here we are with her adorable intern:
When I told her she should come to this Saturday’s Red Bull Flugtag, she asked, “Are there backstage passes?” Classic.
I love Portland.
This video has finally surfaced after 20 yrs and is available on the ‘expanded’ CD edition of U2’s ‘The Joshua Tree’ and of course right here on Time Waste Management. Enjoy!
Ah…nothing like poking fun at my old buddy ‘Stinky’ the cat who now lives across town. This is, however, a photo of ‘Princess Chunk’….all 44 lbs of her. ‘Tons o’ fun’ has never been more aptly applied.

Alejandro Escovedo is the real deal. From the punk rock days living in the infamous Chelsea Hotel to nearly dying a couple of years ago, Alejandro lives to tell it all on his new album ‘Real Animal’. Check out this great video biography of Alejandro. What a story….what a guy….what a great musician! Alejandro Escovedo plays the Aladdin Theater Sept 13th!
Desmond rules.
